My grandmother's name was Eileen (also my middle name) and I associate her name with all pastel colours, as they were her go-to palette when knitting her short sleeved tops which she favoured, very much like this beautiful pattern.❤

Love this sweater! I just learned both of these techniques and find them so easy. For names, I think I would pick my own, Colleen, and it would be a deep shade of green with yellow undertones to denote the Gaelic history of the name. (I am hoping this doesn’t sound arrogant, lol! I just always see green when I think of the name 😊)

Oh I just got this pattern and thought it looked a bit complex, but thanks to your video I see that it isn't. My granddaughter is Olivia. One of my other granddaughters is Daisy Luna. I have this image of huge daisy flowers all over a glowing moon. 🌼🌕

I love being awake before the World is. I love listening to all the birds waking up and calling to each other. My yard is full of pine trees and we have everything from Robins to little Wrens to doves. We even have a new, young family of Northern Flickers this year! Cardinals visit our yard, too. I love to take my coffee outside with whatever project I'm working on, and sit in my hammock and just *listen* to the World wake up.

I just downloaded this pattern yesterday, and today I find this video. It’s Kismet. The name Willow brings to mind a lightweight, wispy yarn in shades of light/medium/dark green marled together. I think that would be perfect for this top!

I have a cousin who I practically grew up with. Her name us Sally and her favorite color is purple....any shade.

My mom's name is Silvia - "the name originates from the Latin word for forest, Silva, and its meaning is "spirit of the wood"; the mythological god of the forest was associated with the figure of Silvanus". I'm picturing beautiful tonal shades of cool forest greens, from the darkest shadows to areas where light filters in from the forest canopy.

I haven't bought from you before, so I'm a little hesitant to get the pattern since this video doesn't completely show the initial sunburst* tutorial. It's a breathtakingly beautiful shawl. Yes I have made a top. I agree with you about making things for yourself. If I don't make the first one for me I end up not getting one done for myself because I have gone to a new pattern. 😄

This top is so beautiful ❤ If I were to dye a skein of yarn to match my daughter Melody's energy it would be a bright teal with hints of goldenrod, lime and amethyst. My son Nolan would be Robin egg blue with hints of orange and red.

The name that comes to my mind is Maeva (pronounced Mah-eh-vah). It's always been a favorite of mine. It has French origins and means 'welcome' in Tahitian. Tahiti evokes beautiful tropical beaches so I think the name would be perfect for a gorgeous turquoise or aqua or even soft teal 🤩

It's been many years since I've crocheted a garment for myself. Vests were all the rage in the 70's and I'm sure I made many. Thank you for sharing this one!

The name Isabeau for me infers a delicate nature with a strong undertone. I first heard the name in the movie Ladyhawke decades ago. can we not use any other yarns? any other material ? could you reccomend me which materials are best for making shawls cause i can't really afford the ones you're using in the video and since i'm a student in a diffrent country but i really wanna make a shawl for my mother so any tips would be very helpful!
